Today we started off the day at the Architecture foundation downtown where we got to learn about the history of Chicago architecture and see marvelous models of the most renowned skyscrapers that helped shape the history of modern architecture. After that, we headed out to start our Millennium Park tour where we got to see all types of architectural contributions and get a sneak peak of one of the music concerts that take place at the Pritzker Pavilion. After a nice quiet lunch at the park we headed back to studio to slice up some fruit and learn the difference between plans, sections, and elevations by drawing them!
