We started the day early with some ice breakers and a tour of the campus with Professor Frank Flurry. The image below shows the students as they listen to Professor Flurry as he discusses the supports of MTCC designed by Rem Koolhaas.
The rest of the tour consisted of works from OMA, Helmut Jahn, and of course ending with Mies van der Rohe’s Crown Hall.
We continued our day with a quick studio session before we were given our final task of the day; building the tallest tower out of toothpicks and gumdrops.
Our tallest skyscraper was built by the group on the left (consisting of Veronica, Colton, Louis, and Manuel). Congrats!!!
